Navajo Code Talkers

"The Code Book" by Simon Singh is set during World War II, as scientists attempted to make codes more unbreakable. Navajo Code Talkers were a specialised group of U.S. Marines who created and utilised an unbreakable, unwritten code based on the complex Navajo language. Their vital communications and tactical transmissions in the Pacific Theatre significantly aided Allied victories and helped save thousands of lives.

Conceived by World War I veteran Philip Johnston, the program utilised bilingual Native Americans to communicate battle plans, as their complex indigenous languages lacked published dictionaries and were completely foreign to enemy cryptographers

Over 420 Navajo men ultimately served as Code Talkers throughout the conflict.

I am still reading "Imajica" by Clive Barker on my Kindle. This is a book I never want to end. When I finish it, I just restart it
