The Vengeance Of Rome

"Jerusalem Commands" by Michael Moorcock is complete, and "The Vengeance Of Rome", the fourth and final part of the Pyat quartet, is started. When I started the first book in May this year, the first chapter was forty pages and the start of a difficult but worthwhile read, but this one is on Chapter five in the first five pages, and has now settled into the normal format. I am relieved to have made the final book, a second-hand Tyneside library copy from Amazon.

I am still reading "Imajica" by Clive Barker on my Kindle. This is a book I never want to end. When I finish it, I just restart it. I read a lot on my trip to Scotland yesterday

I recently discovered that my American Amazon Author page has a feed from this blog, which you can see here. It only shows on the .com site but not on others. C'est la vie.

The music is "The Promise" by When In Rome.

Hoping To Fly

"Jerusalem Commands" by Michael Moorcock now finds Max still stuck in Marrakesh (or Marrakech as he spells it), and Ms Von Bek has taken up with the ruling psychopathic Pasha, but is still having sex with Max. Max is building a flying machine called "Bee" using a car engine to power it, supplied by his friend Mr Mix., and escape to Tangier.

I am still reading "Imajica" by Clive Barker on my Kindle. This is a book I never want to end. When I finish it, I just restart it. I read a lot on my trip to Scotland yesterday

Marrakesh Express

"Jerusalem Commands" by Michael Moorcock now finds Max stuck in Marrakesh (or Marrakech as he spells it) and Ms Von Bek has taken up with the ruling Pash, but their ultimate destination is across the Mediterranean to Italy.

I have just picked the book up after returning from Hebden Bridge and I still have a quarter of this volume to go.

I am still reading "Imajica" by Clive Barker on my Kindle. This is a book I never want to end. When I finish it, I just restart it. I read a lot on my trip to Scotland yesterday

Equatorial Oasis

"Jerusalem Commands" by Michael Moorcock now finds Max at a lost oasis, with a crashed aviatrix Ms Von Bek. He seems a bit stuck at the moment, beings shot at by the locals while bathing in a pool at Vov Bek's insistence.

I have just picked the book up after returning from Hebden Bridge and I still have a quarter of this volume to go.

Caravan

"Jerusalem Commands" by Michael Moorcock now finds Max escaped from God as part of an Arab Caravan crossing the Sahara desert, involved in smuggling some unspecified contraband. I haven't a clue where this is going next, but that may be the attraction of the book. I am two-thirds of the way through this and almost three-quarters through the Pyat quartet, so I will see it through to the end, although I doubt that I will ever read it again.I am enjoying the experience despite it being such a difficult read.

I am still reading "Imajica" by Clive Barker on my Kindle. This is a book I never want to end. When I finish it, I just restart it. I read a lot on my trip to Scotland yesterday

Escape from God

"Jerusalem Commands" by Michael Moorcock ijust took a totally weird turn. Max was a slave in the clutches of someone who named themself God, Esme has been sold and Max was going to have hi seyes removed by God using a red hot poker, but his friend has rescued him and they are now somewhere in the Sahara. It has settled down a bit, but I don't know what is coming next.

Down The Nile

"Jerusalem Commands" by Michael Moorcock is stuck in Egypt, moving slowly down the Nile among the pyramids and stone pharoahs with Max and Co making films and Max going on about how hard done by he is. I am more than halfway through, but it is not the most exciting read; however, something is keeping me reading it.

I am still reading "Imajica" by Clive Barker on my Kindle. This is a book I never want to end. When I finish it, I just restart it. I read a lot on my trip to Scotland yesterday
