Mythos by Stephen Fry is great fun, although there are no gaps at the end of chapters; all the page space is used, but no matter. I like white space at the end of chapters; it makes you feel like you've reached a marking point. Anyway, Metis tricked Zeus into eating her by turning into a fly while she was pregnant with Athena. Then Zeus started getting horrendous migraines. It was Metis in his head, forging armour for Athena, who was to be the Goddess of War, an intelligent opposite to Ares.
Hephaestus was called, and he split Zeus's head open and out stepped Athena, resplendent in her armour.
I am still reading "Imajica" by Clive Barker on my Kindle. This is a book I never want to end. When I finish it, I just restart it, which is good. L
